History

The Company was founded in 1991 to develop products based upon the Mathematical Theories of Sir Roger Penrose, Rouse Ball Professor at the University of Oxford which resulted in the famous 'Perplexing Poultry' game and its bantam brother 'Gamebirds'.

Since then Pentaplex has developed other mathematical theories into a diverse range of software, some of which utilise Sir Roger's theories but others are based upon the ideas and inventions of other Associates.
